Concerts: June: Athens. Greece. Music Days Festival (video inside) |

Reporting and photos by Alexander Trichos.
The show was amazing and worth waiting lots of hours... Vacuum appearance delayed a couple of hours for some strange reason. Their performance started on about 24:00 and lasted something like 45mins. Vacuum performed songs from the new album except I Breathe and Starting.
The song-list:
Dead (12.4 Mb)
Your Whole Life Is Leading Up To This (11.8 Mb)
Mind your mind (8.2 Mb)
In the dirt
The void (12.4 Mb)
Something Evil (11.5 Mb)
Fools like me (9.1 Mb)
I Breathe (11.6 Mb)
Starting (9.4 Mb)

Anders was on stage and there were two other band members... My feeling was that the audience was interested in the Vacuum music. Especially it liked I Breathe and The Void. Just it wasn't as enthusiasm as they expressed on the previous Band named Mikro, which is actually a very well known Greek electro band.
And of course what was for me the BEST part of the show was my backstage pass... I was so glad to speek to Mattias face to face!!! First of all I asked them to sign my copy of Seance At The Chaebol and then we talked about the availability of Vacuum albums in Greek stores (which is actually non-existent) ant that our only way to purchase an album is from the net.

Then of course I expessed my appreciation to their music and declared that I am a loyal fan since The Plutonium Cathedral. Afterwards I asked them if we are going to see some of the old-style songs again in some future album as far as the Scientific and Space style of lyrics is concearned (which is actually a thing that I miss a lot). And the answer was that "well it is not on our current plans but maby in the future..."
Mattias and Anders were very friendlly and kind. I was really impressed, they are very very good people. At least that was the impression that they gave me...
